More Criminal Empowerment Zones available.

Sonic, and Chili's join Jack-in-the-Box,
Chipotle and Starbuck's in banning guns from premises.

The latest backlash from some Open Carry advocates, demonstrating in front of businesses, or going into any of these locations with their long guns has been more of these businesses asking patrons to leave their guns at home.  I guess they didn't see the story about the "No Guns" posted restaurant in North Carolina that got robbed.  That, or they just don't care.

Now, to be fair, I don't know that any of these stores are going to be posted.  But, their CEO's have published comments to the effect that they prefer their customers leave their guns at home, or at the very least, don't bring them into their business.  I for one, plan to comply.  I will not bring my gun, my money, nor myself into any of these businesses ever again.  At least, not until I know that my firearm is welcome again.  And I will also be sure to pass the word on to all of my relatives, friends, acquaintances, and even strangers I meet at the local Meijer's (which still has no problem with my OCing a holstered pistol) whenever I go shopping.

Keep in mind, if you don't allow legal guns onto your property, you may find yourself facing ILLEGAL guns.  After all, criminals don't obey signs.  That's one of the reasons they're called criminals.
