An old "love" returns home

The was the first major caliber handgun I ever owned. My mother bought it for me about 1975 or 76. I don't remember the exact year, but, it was a long time ago. I kept that one for a number of years, but eventually sold it. It wasn't until later that I realized the mistake I made. The Ruger revolver is one of the finest ever made. And after some searching, I finally found one. (Thank you Gunbroker.com).

I still have the Security Six (The Service Six with adjustable sights) I got circa 1973 or '74. It was the second handgun I ever owned and the one I've had the longest. I wish that Ruger would make them again. I'd buy a Speed Six (2 3/4 inch bbl) in a minute.

I used to have a Security Six with a the 2.75" barrel. But the 4" Police Service Six was my first, so it holds a special place in my memory.
