An old "love" returns home

The was the first major caliber handgun I ever owned. My mother bought it for me about 1975 or 76. I don't remember the exact year, but, it was a long time ago. I kept that one for a number of years, but eventually sold it. It wasn't until later that I realized the mistake I made. The Ruger revolver is one of the finest ever made. It is a Rock Island Armory M1911-A1FS, caliber .45ACP. Yes, it's nickel plated and shiny as all get out.



And no, that stuff near the muzzle is not some marring, it's a reflection.
